Arjun Reddy fame Shalini Pandey falls unconscious

Nellore: Shalini Pandey, the lead actress of controversial hit film Arjun Reddy, fell unconscious after inaugurating a mobile phone showroom in Nellore City on Wednesday.

Shalini arrived in Nellore on Tuesday night, and she inaugurated the showroom on Wednesday morning, but she took ill soon after. She was immediately rushed to a corporate hospital in the city. She was so weak that she had to be carried into the hospital on a stretcher.

When patients at the hospital and their attendants came to know that the actress had been admitted there for treatment, they gathered in large numbers outside the emergency ward. The hospital staff had a tough time trying to manage the crowd.

After being treated for nearly one-and-a-half hours, Shalini was released from the hospital. While she was on her way to her car, her bodyguards had to cover her face to protect her from the onslaught of media persons who rushed to the hospital to cover the incident.

Hospital authorities remained tight-lipped regarding the reasons for her sudden bout of ill health. However, sources at the hospital said that she was exhausted as the result of a hectic schedule, frequent travel and a lack of rest.

Shalini has shot to fame after the release of her recent film Arjun Reddy, which was given an “A” certificate because of some explicit scenes and a number of lip-locks between Shalini and lead actor Vijay Deverakonda. Nellore.
