KCR has no grip on admin: Telangana TD

Hyderabad: Telangana TD leaders strongly criticised Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and complained that he has no grip on administration.

According to some of the TD leaders it is the Chief minister’s inefficiency and neglecting attitude that is giving birth to new problems.

Speaking to the media on Monday, along with the other party leaders, Telangana TD president L. Ramana said the TRS government is only concerned about the publicity but at ground level, no sche-me is being implemented properly. He also notified the fact that the investme-nts estimates for Kaleswa-ram irrigation project have reached Rs 1 lakh crore from Rs 38,000 crore. He we-nt on further to demand an answer from the Chief Minister, explaining whe-re the enhanced project cost is going.

Mr Ramana accused the Chief Minister of not coming out of Pragathi Bhavan when the farmers are facing hardships due to untimely rains and at times of droughts due to the drying up of underground water. Mr Ramana continued his criticism saying that the CM has brought new slogan on the third front to cover up his failures. According to him, the CM had promised to construct 4 hospitals around Hyderabad city during the GHMC elections. But instead of constructing these hospitals KCR has spent crores of rupees in building the Pragathi Bhavan.

The CM’s non-participation in the programmes of Jagjivan Ram, Jyothirao Phule and Ambedkar’s birth anniversary was also brought up by the TTD leader. He demanded that the state government pay compensation to the farmers who lost crops due to untimely rains, pointing out the possibility of the farmers staging dharna before agriculture commissionerate.

Former MP Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy also spoke against the Chief Minister, drawing attention to the fact that in TRS government regime 23,000 industries were closed. He also said that the number of industries closed during the TRS regime has exceeded the number of industries set up during the same.

According to TD General Secretary E Peddi Reddy, TRS government has failed in implementing distribution of 3 acres land to weaker sections, construction of double bedroom houses, KG to PG education and others.

Telangana TD leaders vowed to expose the failures of the government and they will take up programmes to reach the people for the same.
