United Nation refers to Hafiz Saeed as ‘Sahib’

It is understood that the government will seek the clarification on the usage of ‘sahib’ for Saeed in the communication by Gary Quilan, the chair of UNSC Committee, on December 17, acccording to reports.
Mr Quinlan made the reference to Saeed in the communication on information regarding banned terror organisation Lashkar-e-Tayyba and Saeed pursuant to earlier UN resolutions concerning al-Qaeda and associated individuals and entities.
The UN has declared JuD a terrorist organisation. The resolution entails freezing of funds and assets of designated individuals.
