Pierced, with love

Whether you’re tiptoeing into the world of body art with a classic earlobe piercing or diving right in with something more exotic, getting pierced for the first time is a big deal.
Getting pierced is a simple process if done by a professional piercer. It’s important to pay careful attention to how you get a piercing, and who does it. If you don’t, there could be scary consequences.
Facial piercing and body piercings are quite in trend, and there’s no limit to how much a person could experiment and get creative with their idea of piercing. Some of the most done facial piercings are traditional nose, septum, eyebrow, upper lip, lower lip/chin, cheek etc.
A professional will never recommend a piercing gun because although they’re quick and cheap, they don’t promise the accuracy. A piercing gun would pierce your skin and throw out that part of your skin’s area out whereas; a piercing needle would actually pierce your skin by just tearing it, and joining it again during the healing process. I’d suggest always go for the piercing needles as they are hygienic and safe. These needles are freshly opened each time and not reused. Remember, a gun cannot be sterilised completely.”
The risks of infections are worse when the piercing equipment isn’t sterilised. Infections can occur even if the piercing is sterilised if the aftercare isn’t followed well. One must ensure cleaning the area twice a day. Do not wear tight clothing in case of belly button piercings as they keep air from entering. Also, do cover the ear piercing if you’re using a lot of hair products.
Always run a background check about the kind of jewelry that you choose. Most people have certain kind of allergies and that’s why I personally recommend not jumping into the commitment without having all the details.”
Often people are excited about the piercing process and don’t have the patience to wait for it to heal. Piercings are high maintenance. Do not touch it unnecessarily or sleep on it.
