Except for the title Kabali that is trending on social media, everything about Superstar Rajinikanth’s next movie under Ranjith’s direction has been kept under wraps. Reportedly a gangster movie in which Rajini plays an ageing don, Radhika Apte is playing his wife and Dhanshika his daughter.

The film’s high-profile photo shoot was done recently at AVM Studios in a closely guarded environment with a Korean photographer at the helm. An insider tells DC that Rajini sported a salt-n-pepper wig with an ivory stubble akin to something he donned in his 1991 blockbuster Dharma Durai. Bhanu Bashyam, the Bollywood makeup artist who is the lucky mascot for Superstar for over a decade, and is the man behind his charismatic on-screen persona, flew to Chennai for the purpose of achieving this look.

Radhika Apte was also spotted dressed in a traditional outfit with a look of the 80s. The first look posters of Kabali will be out during mid-September.
