Singer Ryan Beatty, 20, has come out as gay. He used his social media accounts to make the announcement. The young star has grown his fan base with his YouTube covers and released his first extended play (EP), Because of You, in the year 2012. Beatty has also toured with Cody Simpson and is all set to drop his new single Passion on July first, reports JustJared.com. He wrote on Instagram , “Proud to be a raging homosexual. It’s taken 20 years of suffocating in the closet for me to become comfortable enough to say it, but now I can finally breathe. I did it!” Ryan added on Twitter, “I’m so happy I’m gay.”

Ryan’s fans, friends and family supported him. “Damn. I’m so grateful to have friends and family that support me and just want me to be happy. That’s unconditional love. Thank you to anyone who’s reached out to me with the supportive words. I’m so happy,” he added on Twitter.
