Recently another comedian Srinivas Reddy tasted flop as hero though his effort won the praise. Srinivas Reddy acted as hero in "Jayammu Nischayammu Raa" and the film got good reviews from critics and film industry folks but it bit the dust at box-office.

Earlier comedians like Brahmanandam, Dhanraj and Vennela Kishore also did not succeed as heroes though they are popular in comedy roles. Now trade is not much enthusiastic about Saptagiri's attempt to win the hearts of audiences with his maiden movie as hero.

Although "Saptagiri Express" created a lot of buzz, the trade circles are sceptical about its prospects. They are only hoping that he does a miracle crushing all the sentiments that comedians don't succeed as heroes.

Saptagiri is confident that he would emerge as successful star like Sunil did with "Andala Ramudu" and Ali with "Yamaleela".
