Mumbai: After the super success of ‘Airlift’, ‘Houseful 3’, ‘Rustom’ & now ‘Jolly LLB’, Akshay Kumar has just wrapped the shoot of ‘Toilet- Ek Prem Katha’. Producers of ‘Rustom’, KriArj Entertainment have joined hands with Viacom 18 as the proud presenters of this film and are keeping up their consistent track record of making films based on meaningful content and at the same time providing entertainment for one and all.

This film has a unique love story and also embodies a social satire which deals with tackling the menace of open defecation and the changing mind sets of Indians as a whole.

The film went on floors in Barsana near Mathura in November ‘16. The shooting venues along with Barsana and Nandgaon in Uttar Pradesh were also Bhopal for the final schedule. The authenticity of real locations of rural India and the hinterland provides the milieu to the story which borrows its soul from the villages of India. With the shoot now wrapped up and completed, the cast and crew are having serious withdrawal symptoms.

‘Toilet- Ek Prem Katha’, a unique love story will see renowned editor Shree Narayan Singh making his directorial debut, produced by Aruna Bhatia & Plan C Studios in association with Abuntuntia. The film releases worldwide on 2nd June, 2017, presented by Viacom 18 & KriArj Entertainment.
