Actress Samantha’s love for fitness is well-known. She’s known to be an addict when it comes to her regime, which she follows to the T! And the actress who has just returned from a long schedule of her next with actor Ram Charan and director Sukumar, left everyone in awe with the latest video she has posted. “Because I like a challenge #newhobby #silambam. Can’t wait to get better at this. #love #takeupsomethingnew (sic),” she captioned the video in which she’s seen effortlessly wielding the stick as she practices the traditional martial art form, Silambam.

Buzz was that the actress is preparing for a role in one of her upcoming films. However, a source close to her, reveals, “Workouts can get boring if they are repetitive, so she took up the martial art form to try something new.” Samantha has got a lot going on for her alongside her film with Ram Charan. She has three Tamil films, one with Vijay, directed by Atlee, an episodic thriller under director Thiagarajan Kumararaja titled Aneedhi Kaidhigal and Vishal’s Irumbu Thirai. Meanwhile, she is expected to begin shooting for Mahanati, director Nag Ashwin’s biopic on legendary actor Savitri in June.
