Chiranjeevi’s period drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, being helmed by Surender Reddy, has many big actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Jagapathi Babu and Sudeep. And joining the cast next is Ravi Kishan. Interestingly, Surender introduced this Bhojpuri actor to Telugu films with his directorial venture Race Gurram a few years back. And the director has once again roped in the same actor for his epic film.

“Ravi Kishan is playing an important role. The director is confident about him and has given him a good character,” says a source in the know, adding that Ravi did not ask a single question about the role when Surender called him. “Ravi Kishan has always been full of gratitude for Surender Reddy, so he accepted the film immediately without even asking anything. It’s a big project and more than that, acting opposite Chiranjeevi is a big opportunity for Ravi Kishan,” added the source.



Notably, once the entire cast is finalised, Surender Reddy wants to hold a group workshop before the film goes on floors. In the meantime, Ravi is busy shooting for four other Telugu films.
