Akshay Kumar postpones Pad Man to February 9

Aiyaary was also slated to release on January 25 when Pad Man was releasing but after Padmaavat decided to come on January 25, Pad Man has been postponed.
The trade is abuzz with news that there weren’t many screens available for Pad Man after Padmaavat grabbed a lion’s share and hence a decision to this effect was taken.
Akshay called an emergency press conference to announce the same. But trade analysts like Komal Nahata preferred to break the news quickly to the people. “Pad Man release postponed to 9th February. Padmaavat will be solo release on 25th January (sic),” he tweeted.
