Grammy Awards 2018: Bruno Mars sweeps Grammys, Kendrick Lamar, Ed Sheeran win big

Washington DC: Bruno Mars went six for six at the Grammys, winning all of the awards he was nominated for with his energetic and upbeat 90s-inspired R&B album.

Mars won album of the year for '24K Magic,' record of the year for the title track, and song of the year for the No. 1 hit, 'That's What I Like,' on Sunday at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Rapper Kendrick Lamar won the Best Rap Album award, picking up five in total including Best Rap/Sung Performance for 'Loyalty' featuring Rihanna.

Ed Sheeran has emerged the winner in the two categories he was nominated in- 'Shape of You' for Best Pop Solo Performance and ÷ ('Divide') for Pop Vocal Album.

Best New Artist was won by Alessia Cara. The singer beat out Khalid, Lil Uzi Vert, SZA, and Julia Michaels to receive the title of best new artist.

Pop sensation Shakira took home the Best Latin Pop Album award for 'El Dorado' at the 60th Grammy Awards.

Lady Gaga and Kelly Clarkson displayed white roses at the 2018 Grammys red carpet to support the Time's Up initiative. Inspired by the black dress initiative at this year's Golden Globes, Eve, Rita Ora, Cyndi Lauper and Lana Del Ray were among the many women who chose to accessorise their dresses with the rose.

Carrie Fisher was honoured with her first Grammy at the 60th annual Grammy Awards. The actress won posthumously for best spoken word album for her audiobook recording of her 2016 memoir, 'The Princess Diarist.'

Kesha took the stage by storm by delivering an emotional performance with a rendition of her ballad 'Praying' alongside Cyndi Lauper, Camila Cabello, Julia Michaels and Andra Day. The singers paid homage to the 'Me Too' and 'Time's Up' movement, as they sang in unison before a chorus of women all dressed in white.
