Manchu Vishnu has decided to sponsor Chittoor district’s basketball team. Incidentally, Vishnu hails from the district, and recently gave a representation to the district collector P.S. Pradyumna about this.

“Vishnu has offered to sponsor the district men’s and women’s basketball teams and their mentors,” says a release from the actor.





An avid basketball fan, Vishnu also played the sport at the National level during his college days. He also led the University team and represented India during 1999-2001, says the release, adding that he was earlier involved with many sporting activities and is happy to contribute to the development of the team and lend them all support, including infra development and financial support. Some say that Vishnu is working towards building up a strong basketball team from his own district in the coming years.
