Apparently Tom Cruise has not seen his daughter, Suri Cruise, in years, reports Daily Mail.co.uk. Quoting anonymous sources, reports have alleged that the Hollywood star is allowed to visit the 12-year-old up to 10 days a month but “chooses not to because she is not a scientologist.”

Cruise and his third wife Katie Holmes divorced after six years of being married in 2012, after which Katie was given primary custody of their daughter. Cruise was last photographed with Suri almost five years back in 2013.

Before Katie, Cruise was married to Nicole Kidman, with who he adopted two children — son Connor and daughter Isabella — and after the couple split, the children stayed with Cruise and have been following scientology ever since.

Recently, former scientologist Leah Remini, claimed that Katie Holmes could lose custody of her child if she spoke with Leah Remini. In response to Remini’s claims, The Church of Scientology issued a statement, saying, “Ms Remini’s ridiculous rants are unending and the myths and tales she and her co-producer spread are grown more bizarre by the day.”

An outspoken critic of Scientology, Tony Ortega, also told a news outlet, “Katie and Nicole have moved on from their time with Tom and are leading their own lives outside of the church.”
