Having witnessed another mega wedding in Italy after she and her then boyfriend, Virat Kohli, tied the knot in scenic Tuscany last year, we could not resist the temptation to ask her about the latest power couple, Deepika-Ranveer, choosing that country as their chosen wedding destination.

Anushka bats this one with great diplomacy, saying: “Hmmm… Italy!! Kya bolun? Good for Italy!”





Does her outspoken nature and her penchant to speak her mind get her into trouble?

“Even if I have, I don’t care. I don’t say anything that’s not true nor do I say anything that is not necessary. Why bother to say anything that’s not necessary?”

Next we quiz if she gets support from husband Virat Kohli and she says: “I have always been an independent person. I have been in my acting career for 14 years and any decisions I take in my profession are taken by me alone. The same is true for Virat too. He takes his professional decisions himself. We don’t interfere in each other’s careers. But we do make sure that we are supportive of each other’s careers and decisions at all time. When it comes to roles I pick, I have always challenged myself. I keep my professional and personal life separate,”she concludes.
