The same tabloid that tried to do a hatchet job on Priyanka Chopra’s marriage this week, had earlier tried to smear her reputation by pushing a story alleging her squabble over property with husband Nick Jonas.

The tabloid published a ‘source’ story claiming that Priyanka’s four-month old wedding to Nick is already on the verge of collapse. In other words, PC is the Indian gold-digger who will probably clean out the Jonas of their riches.





These ill-informed sources don’t seem to realise that PC was a very rich woman before she married Nick. She is not new to fame or fortune.

It is very clear not everyone in the US is happy with PC’s success. The attempts to pull her down have just begun. And they will continue as Priyanka has gone beyond the prescribed limits of success in the US. And the campaign to malign her will intensify, as Priyanka will get only more powerful. If rumours are to be believed, PC has planned a major collaborations with her in-laws.

Says a very close friend of PC, “As she establishes a stronger power base in the US the attempts to prove that her marriage is falling will intensify. It is the only way the cynics and Trump supporters can cut her down to size. But Priyanka is not going to let the party crashers ruin her marriage or her march ahead.”

Priyanka Chopra’s trump card is her resilience. The more you try to put her down the more powerfully she will bounce back.

An April’s fool joke?
A report by OK! Magazine claimed that Nick and PC are headed for divorce. Apparently, the couple’s marriage is ‘hanging by a thread’ as Priyanka is ‘controlling’ and Nick’s family is ‘begging him to end’. The split could result in a major battle over money, the source alleged.
