Mumbai: Sunny Leone and her ‘Mastizaade’ team were sitting with fingers crossed to get their film passed by the Censor Board. They can finally heave a sigh of relief, as their film has reportedly cleared the censors with an ‘Adult’ certificate.

After finishing up the film, it was initially scheduled to release in May, however after being rejected several times the team will finally get its theatrical release. The new date is yet to be decided.

The film stars Sunny Leone, Riteish Deshmukh, Tusshar Kapoor and Vir Das. The sex-comedy was reportedly sent to the Film Certification Appellate Tribunal, and was given an ‘A’ certificate.
