Kavitha feels 'safe' in liquor scam, to come out of house!

Kalvakuntla Kavitha, who has been confined to her residence in Banjara Hills after her name figured in the Delhi liquor scam and has not been seen in public, has reportedly decided to become 'active' in politics again and undertake tours to Nizamabad to prepare the ground for contesting the Lok Sabha polls against the BJP sitting MP, Arvind Kumar.
Kavitha, a BRS MLC and the daughter of BRS supremo and Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, has remained confined to her house since April 11, stating that she sustained a leg injury at her house and doctors advised her bed rest for three weeks.
However, she did not come out of her house even after three weeks, except on one occasion on May 10 when she made a public appearance by visiting the famous Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy temple and participating in the Hanuman Chalisa program.
Kavitha appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) three times for questioning in the Delhi liquor scam in March. Despite speculations that Kavitha would be arrested in this case and sent to jail, nothing happened even after two months of ED questioning.
With the prime accused in the Delhi liquor scam, Sharat Chandra Reddy, getting regular bail and several other accused getting bail in this case, Kavitha is believed to have concluded that she has landed in a 'safe zone' regarding the Delhi liquor scam. She feels that there is no threat of arrest for her in this case and that the Delhi liquor scam is now a closed case.
Reportedly, Kavitha has informed her followers, supporters, and party workers in Nizamabad district to intensify political activities, and she will visit the constituency more often to gear up for the Lok Sabha polls.
It may be recalled that Kavitha took a vow to defeat BJP MP Dharmapuri Aravind, who defeated her in the Nizamabad Lok Sabha seat in the 2019 elections.
Kavitha has also vowed not to spare Aravind even if he chooses to contest the Assembly polls from any seat, and she will camp there to defeat him.
