Bheemla Nayak's Fate to be Decided in 10 Days

At one time, the producer of “Bheemla Nayak” thought of releasing the movie on an OTT platform skipping the theatrical window.
Pawan Kalyan suggested the producers think of a direct release on OTT as the Andhra Pradesh government was not hiking the ticket prices. But they have dropped the idea and also postponed the film from January 12 to February 25.
Megastar Chiranjeevi recently said that the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government would make a favorable decision. He hinted that the admission prices of cinema halls in the state would be hiked.
The industry is expecting the announcement in the first week of February. So, the release plans of “Bheemla Nayak” on February 25 depend on the government’s decision.
Plus, the makers would wait till the first week of February to see whether COVID19 cases go down or rise further.
The producers say the film will not be postponed further. But the final date will depend on the above two factors. The trade is also waiting for clarity in the next 10 days.
