Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan got engaged last year.

They are getting married as per Hindu rituals. Though Nayanthara is a Syrian Christian, she took up Hinduism five years ago.

She is a strong believer in god and regularly visits various temples in India. As per her wish, the wedding ceremony is being held in the traditional Hindu style.

The entire wedding celebration is being filmed by a group of young filmmakers like a movie. It will be streamed on an OTT platform.
