"Anni Manchi Sakunamule" did not generate much hype, but it was well-marketed by producers Swapna Dutt and Priyanka Dutt. Their production company's previous three films grossed millions of dollars.

"Mahanati" made over $2 million, while "Sita Ramam" and "Jathi Ratnalu" each made over $1 million.

Hence, the overseas distributor hoped for a half-million-dollar gross for "Anni Manchi Sakunamule," but the film failed to meet that target. While the film failed domestically, it did okay in the United States.
