The overseas market has become tough to crack for the Telugu filmmakers lately. The big movies are finding it hard to get profits after the corona pandemic. The latest film is Mahesh Babu’s “Sarkaru Vaari Paata”.

“Sarkaru Vaari Paata” grossed $2.1 million until now. After posting impressive numbers in the first three days, the formulaic entertainer is struggling to draw audiences to the theaters. The film still needs 500k dollars to reach the break-even stage for the distributor.

It is a big task for the film to receive another half a million dollars.

Even in the domestic Indian market, the film needs to pull off its socks on the second weekend. The exams for intermediate college students will be over on 18th March. So, the distributors are hopeful that it would attract the youngsters on the second weekend.

The performance in the coming weekend will decide its fate.
