Akhil Akkineni’s debut film was finally launched officially on Wednesday, at a private studio. The launch was a low-key affair.

V.V. Vinayak is directing the film while Nithiin, who Akhil’s best friend is producing it.

“Today is the last auspicious day of the year, thus they decided to do the pooja,” says a source.

The makers had earlier wanted to postpone the launch to next year as the director’s mother passed away few days back. “But the director asked the makers to go ahead with the launch,” says the source.

All the members of the Akkineni family attended the launch along with some Tollywood personalities.
