Ravi Shastri found napping inside dressing room : “Enjoy...Enjoy”, he says

Team India coach Ravi Shastri was caught sleeping in the dressing room during the third Test match, which Kohli’s team won easily against South Africa.

On the third day’s play when South Africa was batting in the second innings at the JSCA Stadium (Ranchi) dressing room, the TV broadcasters caught Shastri napping.

The Twitterverse and social media was “more than happy” to take the opportunity of a lifetime and trolled Shastri for being asleep on the job.

“Don’t blame Ravi Shastri, it’s Monday, happens to everyone!”, one message floated indicating it happens after a weekend.

“Ravi Shastri has the best job in the entire world. Drinks at will, takes naps during office time, gets paid in crores”, another message said pointing at Shastri’s drinking habits in the evening.

‘”10 Crore (Shastri’s possible pay package with the Indian cricket board) per year for sleeping’ – Twitter trolled Ravi Shastri for taking a nap in the dressing room.

The head coach, however, was not disturbed with the criticism.

“Enjoy, Enjoy....I don’t care what people say....”, speaking exclusviely to this reporter, he said over telephone from Ranchi.

It is not known what he meant by saying this : whether he was suggesting to enjoy the sleep or India’s one-sided 3-0 win performance against South Africa...

When pointed out at his napping photo, he said, “I don’t miss a single ball”.
