Blurred loyalties

The Pandya brothers — Hardik and Krunal — are playing for two different teams this IPL season. Hardik is a captain of the Gujarat Titans, while his elder brother Krunal has been playing for the Lucknow Super Giants. The two teams are scheduled to clash at Pune on Tuesday. But it looks like loyalties are a little blurred in the family! Apparently, Hardik’s son Agastya will not be supporting his dad’s team, but will sit in the rival LSG camp.
A day before the match, Krunal gifted an LSG jersey to his nephew. Interestingly, the customized jersey has the child’s name on it.
“Got my lucky charm on my side for this game,” he posted on social media.
Krunal is also seen holding Hardik's son in his arms in the swimming pool in one picture.
“There is absolutely no rivalry between the two brothers”, their sister Anamika Dave said, speaking exclusively to DC. “Both my brothers and their wives are happily living together in the same flat in Mumbai. Krunal enjoys playing with Agastya in his free time,” she says.
“After the death of my father (Himanshu), my mother, who lives in Baroda, frequently visits her sons in Mumbai,” Anamika added.
While Krunal is married to Pankhuri Sharma, Hardik’s wife is Natasa, a Serbian dancer, model and actress.
It was on 31st December 2019 that Hardik first shared a picture of himself with Natasa Stankovic on Instagram, captioning it “Starting the year with my firework.” They seemed to be the best of friends. But the very next day, he announced his engagement to her. They got engaged on a cruise while partying with friends. Apparently, Hardik had initially confided only in Krunal about his love for Natasa.
