Rajesh Kumar (Satyam Rajesh) is a struggling assistant director. He has been trying to become a director for many years. His girlfriend is a wannabe actress. When she cheats on him, the frustrated Rajesh Kumar decides to leave Hyderabad and settle in his village.

Out of the blue, an offer comes for him from a wannabe producer, who asks him to make a film with a budget of Rs 1 cr. The condition he lays is that a part of the movie should be filmed in his native village Kalapuram.

After Rajesh Kumar lands in Kalapuram, he comes to know that Hyderabad police took the producer in custody in a cheating case.

On the other hand, Kalapauram police seize Rajesh Kumar’s cash as by-elections are underway. Police order him to stay put there until the end of the election.

How will Rajesh Kumar complete his maiden directorial?
