PM Narendra Modi okays AIS officers to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh

Hyderabad: The decks have been cleared for the long-pending distribution of All India Service officers to Telangana State and Andhra Pradesh with Prime Minister Narendra Modi giving his nod to allotments on Wednesday. The process was caught in a contentious logjam for six months.

Final orders are likely to be issued on Friday. This will pave the way for the Department of Personnel and Training for allotment of IAS, IPS and IFS officers to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
