The United States has removed four Indian companies from its sanctions list that were previously accused of supplying advanced technology and equipment to Russias military industrial base

The companies have been removed from the Office of Foreign Assets Controls Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List They include Hyderabad based RRG Engineering Technologies Private Limited and Lokesh Machines Limited Ahmedabad based Galaxy Bearings and New Delhi based Shaurya Aeronautics Private Limited

Galaxy Bearings was sanctioned in October 2024 for allegedly exporting high priority dual use equipment including roller bearings and roller assemblies to Russian entities

Shaurya Aeronautics was accused of sending radar apparatus radio navigational aid equipment radio remote control apparatus and electrical equipment to Russia

RRG Engineering Technologies was accused of sending more than 100 shipments of microelectronics to Russia based Arteks Limited Company which was already on the sanctions list

Lokesh Machines was accused of supplying dozens of shipments of machine tools to several Russian manufacturing companies

The US Department of the Treasury announced the removal of all four companies from the sanctions list marking the end of the restrictions previously imposed on them
