Warangal to host all new IT firms: K Chandrasekhar Rao

Warangal: In search of government lands, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao conducted an aerial survey over the city of Warangal on Monday. Mr Rao also conducted a survey over the forest area in Dharmasagar mandal. Warangal being the next big city after Hyderabad in Telangana, Mr Rao stressed on the development of the city. He said that all new IT companies, universities and other organisations will be diverted to Warangal as Hyderabad is already full. “With the diversion of the IT companies and universities, the population of the city will double in a few years. Keeping this in mind, the development projects have been planned to suit a city with a population of 20 lakh citizens,” said Mr Rao. The CM took note of the government lands available for the proposed Outer Ring Road and the textile park, which is to be made a one-stop industry for all kinds of fabric productions across India. About 500 acres of land have been demarcated for this textile park at Ananthasagar and Jayagiri areas.
