Bareilley: A seven-year-old boy was beaten to death on Tuesday by his teacher in Uttar Pradesh for not paying the school fee in time. Araj was a nursery student in a private school in Bareilly.

MP Singh, Police officer said, “At around 11 am, a teacher allegedly banged Araj's head against the wall and he started bleeding from his nose. The school authorities took the boy to a hospital and called his parents, asking them to pick up their son as he was ill.”

The boy remained in an unconscious state when his parents arrived at the hospital. Meanwhile, the Post mortem report states that he died of severe head injuries.

People protested outside a police station demanding the school principal's arrest. An FIR was also filed against the school's manager but arrests are yet to made.
