Kerala High Court rues ‘immoral’ kiss of love

Kochi: Kerala High Court on Tuesday observed that it is a pity that a moral policing at Kozhikode Down Town incident has kindled state wide immoral activity by certain youngsters under the name of Kiss of Love.

The HC granted anticipatory bail plea to five Yuva Morcha activists the accused in Kozhikode Down Town attack case. “It had been pointed out that the incident has triggered state wide agitation under the name of Kiss of Love.

It is a pity that incident of moral policing has kindled immoral activity by certain youngsters,” Justice Kemal Pasha observed. The HC further observed that the case diary reveals the atrocious activity by hooligans under the guise of moral policing. “It is unfortunate that members of youth wing of a political party are involved,” it said.
