Lokesh Scam 4 Lakh Crore, Alleges YSRC

The Telugu Desam Party leaders, including party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, have been consistently alleging that YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy had amassed wealth to the tune of Rs one lakh crore.

Now, it is the turn of YSRC leaders to make the counter-allegations and the latest Visakhapatnam land scam has given them an opportunity to turn the tables on TDP general secretary and Andhra Pradesh IT minister Nara Lokesh.

On Monday, YSRC Rajya Sabha member V Vijay Sai Reddy made a sensational allegation that Lokesh had sought to amass wealth to the tune of Rs 4 lakh crore through the land mafia, which had swindled one lakh acres of land in Visakhapatnam.

“Lokesh is leading the land mafia, which includes minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Anakapalle MLA Peela Govinda Satyanarayana, Pendurthi MLA Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy and his son Appala Naidu, Yelamanchili MLA P Ramesh Babu and Visakhapatnam East MLA Velagapudi Ramakrishna Babu.

“Very shortly, the YSRC will organise a massive dharna in Visakhapatnam against the land scam. We will also submit representations to the President of India and Governor demanding action against the land mafia,” Sai Reddy said.
