Hyderabad: Violence at TV serial shooting

Hyderabad: Jubilee Hills police booked a case against the leaders of the Federation of TV Artistes for allegedly stalling the shooting of a TV serial and for attacking the director and producers. The suspects allegedly damaged the equipment and mobile phones of director Puli Vasu Srinivas.

The attackers are Rajendra Singh, Nagaraju, Vijay Yadav and Chakri belonging to different organisations. Police said the suspects came to stall the shooting of the TV serial Rama Seetha at Jubilee Hills. As per the decision of the Federation, the production crew should be given a day off on second Sundays every month.

“The leaders came to know that shooting was going on at Sunday at Jubilee Hills. They went to the set and tried to stop the shooting by attacking director Puli Vasu Srinivas and co- director Jayakumar. The victims lodged a complaint alleging that they were assaulted and equipment damaged,” said SI B. Jagadeeswar.
