ICT Academy, an initiative of the Centre, TN Govt and the industry, has launched a 90-minute online course that explains the basics of GST, the benefits of the tax law and its implications.

The online super capsule course on GST in 90 minutes was launched at the stroke of midnight on Friday, coinciding with the launch of the tax by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Central Hall of Parliament. The course available on gst.ictacdemy.in covers the views of captains of industry, leading CAs, indirect tax professionals and corporate executives. ICT Academy has built this program with an objective to provide a mass awareness of GST to all citizens in India, the company said in a statement, adding that software major Tata Consultancy Services is the technology partner for the course.
