59 additional Pink Hoysalas for Bengaluru : Siddaramaiah

Bengaluru: Maintaining that women and children's safety is top priority for his government, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that each police station in the city will have one Pink Hoysala patrolling vehicle which will be assigned to attend women and children-related issues.

Speaking to the media after a review meeting with the senior police officers, Mr Siddaramaiah announced on Monday that 59 additional Pink Hoysalas will join the existing 51 Pink Hoysalas unveiled by him on April 10.

"Safety and security of women are our top priority and the Pink Hoysala is an exclusive service aimed at attending and addressing women and children related issues in less time. All the 110 police stations in the city will have one vehicle each," he said.
