e-Sahai launches ambulance services, medical taxi in Vizag

Visakhapatnam: Extending the online taxi aggregation concept to the underserved transport needs of people with mobility issues in AP, MyInd Medtech Innovations’ app-based eSahai service launched medical taxi and ambulance aggregation in Vizag city, first of its kind concept in Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday.

The medical taxi service is a transportation facility for people with mobility difficulties including the differentlyabled, senior citizens, pregnant women, post-surgery patients and dialysis patients. Its medical emergency services bring together the fleet of private ambulances onto a single platform where users can avail services by just a click of a button or just by calling.

Talking to newsmen here in Vizag, founder of eSahai, Hari Bharadwaj said, “the emergency medical services market is totally unorganised, we would like to bring the ‘CRIEA’ concept which is all about care, reliability, efficiency, innovation, affordability and more consumer focused.”

Expressing their expansion plans in Vizag, Mr Bharadwaj said that their plan is to operate within the city for the three-four months and later they would reach out to suburban places within 100 kms range from the city. He further said that their team has been working on the rate card and it will be out soon. The company will start with one medical taxi initially and will expand its fleet to 20 in the coming months based on the demand.
