ANANTAPUR: YSRC chief and leader of the opposition Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy lashed out at chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu over repeated cheating of backward classes and Kapus in the name of reservations. “The State government has passed resolutions thrice asking Boyas to be treated as STs and benefit should not be given without proper amendments,” Mr Reddy noticed.
He further added that the chief minister was trying to bluff to the Kapus in the name of resolution in the AP Assembly. The 26th day of the Praja Sankalpa Yatra entered Anantapur district at Basinepalli village from Kurnool district on Monday morning after concluding his padayatra successfully in Kadapa and Kurnool.
Mr Reddy is scheduled to walk more than 250 Km touching 8 Assembly segments in the district.
Mr Reddy walked about 11.3 Km from Kurnool towards Gooty on Monday evening. Addressing the gathering at Gandhi Circle in Gooty, the leader of the opposition said that TD is trying to cheat Boyas and Kapus in the name of reservations. He recalled that three resolutions were made but no resolutions came up. “Naidu further cheated people in the presence of AP Assembly by passing resolution of reservation for Kapus under BCs”, Mr Reddy observed.

Jagan Mohan Reddy made it clear and said, “I’m sure that there is no need of for a large number of people to attend my meetings if they got the necessary schemes and welfare programmes from the state government during the past four years.” Mr Reddy lashed out at Naidu over false promises in his election manifesto and accued him by saying that none of them were implemented.
