Hyderabad: Giving a boost to the housing programme under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (urban), the Central Sanctioning and Monitoring Committee (CSMC) of southern states has sanctioned Rs 912 crore to AP and Rs 637.83 crore to Telangana state. For AP, the CSMC has sanctioned Rs 484.83 crore under Affordable Housing Programme and Rs 333.52 crore under Beneficiary Led Individual House Construction or Enhancement.

The Centre has directed the regional coordinators of PMU to ascertain Aadhaar seeding of all the beneficiaries has been completed by the state governments.
