Hyderabad: Pregnant woman dies, kin blame hospital

Hyderabad: The alleged negligence of doctors at a private hospital in Musheerabad claimed the life of a pregnant woman on Monday. The deceased was identified as V. Revathi, 26, wife of B. Deepak. According to the police, Revathi came to SagarLal Hospital in Musheerabad for her delivery.
“She died due to cardiac arrest, but her family blames the hospital of negligence,” said the sub-inspector of Musheerabad, Mr Rama Rao.
Based on a complaint filed by Revathi’s father, V. Nagesh, 60, case was lodged under Section 174 (suspicious death) of CrPC and an investigation was started.
