TIRUPATI: YSR Congress vhief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has concluded his Praja Sankalpa Yatra in Chittoor district on Tuesday and entered Nellore district.
The Yatra has started from December 28 and continued for 23 days excluding Fridays and festival holidays. Mr Reddy celebrated Sankranti in Chittoor district. The Yatra started from Thamaballapalle constituency and ended at Srikalahasti constituency.
The YSRC majorly concentrated on attracting the BC communities. All the words spoken by the leader of Opposition seems to own the BCs. The party was proven week in attracting BCs in last elections.
To overcome it, mostly he spoke about the lapses in the government that are hindering Backward Classes.
The party chief has participated and interacted with different public in several intimacy meetings with various communities like BCs, Minorities and Scheduled Castes among others. He also met farmers and weavers.
The farmers in the district received assurance of Mr Reddy that the Chittoor diary and Cooperative Sugar factories will be reopened soon after their government is formed.
This may definitely help YSRC to achieve some additional vote bank in the district.
The party leaders have worked hard to make the entire event a grand success. YSRC legislator Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy along with MP Mithun Reddy and his team had worked with the maximum effort to make it a grand success.
Being in-charge for the party in Chittoor district, MP Mr Vijay Sai Reddy has spent maximum time in the district looking after the arrangements and also took feedback from public and some intellectuals too.
YSRC leaders believe that they are strong enough in Chittoor district as they had a lead in the district during last general elections. But, the TD leaders have not at all commented about the Padayatra.
