HYDERABAD: The alternative political front at the national level by Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrase-khar Rao would be a permanent set-up, TRS legislator V. Srinivas Goud said. KCR was not an individual, but a ‘force’ to reckon with and it was only because of his relentless fight that the dream of Telangana statehood was realised, he added.

Mr Goud on Monday made a counter attack on BJP and Congress for their outbursts against KCR. Mr Goud told mediapersons that state leaders irrespective of political hue should feel proud that a politician from their soil had come forward to take on the mantle at the national level.





He said BJP cared little for southern states and had negligible presence in Telangana. For four years, people of Telang-ana had high expectations from the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre, but these were dashed, he added.

Mr Goud was highly critical of state Congress unit and its ongoing bus yatra, which was a ‘failure’. He challenged the party to ensure a win in at least one Lok Sabha constituency in the next general elections.
