HYDERABAD: A twitter plea from a resident of Kukatpally to minister of municipal and urban administration K.T. Rama Rao can possibly save the Chinna Maisamma Lake at Moosapet from encroachment. Krishna Chennupati, a citizen, has been relentlessly tweeting from 2017, about land grabbing at the lake near Sevalal Nagar.

The minister directed the Medchal collector on twitter itself to send a revenue team to address the issue immediately. Meanwhile, GHMC deputy commissioner of Moosapet Dasharath Tallapally, responded by saying, “We will coordinate with revenue and irrigation officials in protecting the Maisamma Cheruvu.”
