Bengaluru: A doctor's wife has lodged a complaint against her husband for forcing her to watch porn and harassing her for not getting pregnant.

The victim had filed a complaint with the Vidyaranyapura police which has been transferred to the Davangere Women police station where the incident occurred.




The accused, Dr Manjuanath, 38, a resident of Davangere, was married to the 24-year-old woman about three years ago.

The victim couldn't contact the local police and she returned to her parents' house in Vidyaranyapura and then filed the complaint against her husband.

The police said that on March 7, a dowry harassment case was filed against Dr Manjunath which was later handed over to the Davangere Women police station, who are currently investigating the case.

The victim has alleged that her husband forced her to watch porn and asked her to enact the same as even after three years of their marriage, she couldn't conceive.

She also alleged that he was threatening to upload her obscene photos and videos on social media platforms if she failed to obey him.

She along with her parents filed the complaint, which also names her brother-in-law Ranganath and her in-laws for dowry harassment.
