Tirupur: Youth held for posting morphed pic of PM Modi

Tirupur: A 23-year-old youth working for a private firm in Tirupur was arrested for posting a morphed picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his Facebook page.
The BJP's Tirupur north district president Chinnasamy recently filed a complaint with the city police, demanding action against Prabakaran for posting a morphed derogatory picture of Modi on his Facebook page.
Tirupur north police registered a case and special team led by inspector Pichaiah began investigation in association with the cyber crime branch of the city police.
The team identified Prabakar, who hails from Attur in Salem district, and his friends on Facebook.He was arrested on Thursday night and sent to judicial remand.
