Hyderabad: Telangana state BJP president Dr K. Laxman on Wednesday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party’s national president Amit Shah will steer his party to a stunning victory in Telangana in 2019 elections.

Dr Laxman said the BJP will contest all the Assembly and Lok Sabha seats in TS independently without entering into any poll alliance with any party and emerge victorious in 2019 polls.





During a media interaction here, Dr Laxman said Mr Shah would visit the state in mid-July and hold meeting with party leaders and activists from booth level to state-level to strengthen party and devise party's strategy for TS in the 2019 polls.

Dr Laxman said he will take up BJP Jana Chaitanya Yatra from June 23 to July 7 covering all nine old districts of Telangana to highlight the achieves of Mr Modi and expose the failures of TRS government in the past four years.

“The Modi-Amit Shah duo will create magic in Telangana in 2019 polls. They have ensured party's victory in 20 states and they have now set focus on Telugu states. The party’s victory march in south India already started with the BJP bagging majority seats in recent Karnataka Assembly elections though it's a different issue that some opportunistic post-poll alliances were formed to deny power to the BJP against the wishes of people,” Dr Laxman remarked.
