Robbers tear off woman’s ear

Guntur: A woman was severely injured after a gang of robbers attacked and snatched her gold earrings on the Kopalle highway in Tenali on Monday evening.
Her earlobes were split apart as the thieves pulled the earrings forcibly. R. Ramakoteswari, wife of R. Pitchaiah was sleeping in her emu farm opposite JMJ College on the Tenali-Kopalle highway.
The robbers attacked her and snatched her chain, bangles and then tried to pull off the earrings. In the tussle, her earlobes were split open.
