Chennai: Asserting that the ‘saffron’ rule has become synonymous with corruption-free governance and development, BJP state president Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan said 22 States across India have accepted the BJP and Tamil Nadu will be the next to be ‘saffronised.’
“The saffron rule is prevailing in 22 States in India and we will strive to bring saffron rule in Tamil Nadu also,” she told reporters here on Wednesday reacting to DMK president M. K. Stalin’s speech at his party’s general council where he threw the gauntlet at the BJP saying the DMK should “teach a lesson to the BJP government at the Centre.”
“Saffron stands for Dharma, equality, social justice for all. Saffron is against nations looters-minority appeasement-vote bank politics. Saffron is for clean India mother India -make in India-start up India.-future India house for all by 2020 @BJP4India @BJP4TamilNadu,” Dr. Tamilisai later tweeted.
In another tweet, she said, “Saffron colour symbolises corruption free transparent good governance towards progressive all around development including all sections of society. Saffron symbolises a PM from humble beginnings in power against dynasty heirs. Hence people of 22 states have accepted saffronisation,”.
While addressing his party men Mr. Stalin had said, the political situation has come as a grave challenge and remarked, “the Narendra Modi government is trying to paint the nation in saffron colour. Let's teach a lesson to the Modi government.”
