CM Edappadi K Palaniswami, M K Stalin extend greetings to PM Modi on his birthday

Chennai: Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami and DMK president M. K. Stalin have greeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 68th birthday.
Mr Palaniswami who sent his birthday greetings to the Prime Minister along with a flower bouquet, wished Mr Modi good health to serve the nation and the people.

“On the joyous occasion of your birthday, I take great pleasure in conveying my warm wishes to you for a wonderful year ahead," he wished Mr. Modi.
“I pray that the Almighty may grant you many more years of good health and strength to serve our nation and the people," the CM said in his message, which was released to the media.





Mr Stalin, Leader of Opposition in Tamil Nadu Assembly, took to Twitter to greet the PM. "Warm greetings and best wishes to Prime Minister @narendramodi on his birthday. I wish him good health and a long life," he tweeted.

Puducherry Lt Governor Kiran Bedi too greeted Mr. Modi on his birthday and said "the vision, commitment, intellect and leadership exhibited by you (Prime Minister) have been instrumental in our country emerging as a force to reckon in the comity of nations."

She also extended greetings on behalf of the people of Union Territory.

"Schemes like Jan Dhan Yojana, MUDRA, and Ayushman Bharat are path-breaking schemes, truly inclusive, to make the poor of India be part of development and prosperity," she said.
