Go To My Son, Says This Party Chief!!

"Please seek an appointment with my son. He will give you time and address public meetings in your constituency," this is the quiet message that KCR is reportedly giving his party leaders. He is reportedly informing the candidates that they should project him and make him the main speaker in the election rallies. Also, the TRS MLAs and the government officials are being asked to get KTR all pre-election inaugurations and ribbon-cuttings.

As a result, KTR is now forced to divide his time between the party work across Telangana and the work in his constituency Sircilla. But, why these instructions? Simple!! KCR wants KTR to emerge as the second tallest leader in the party. He wants KTR to be the unquestioned heir to his political legacy. Every leader is being told to meet KTR and finalise programmes. The idea is to make him the central point in the party.

But, some insiders say that there could be other reason too for this action!! KCR has promised to hold 100 meetings in 50 days across Telangana. But, his health conditions and age do not permit such hectic schedule. As a result, he is trying to delegate some work to his son. This will lessen KCR's burden and will help project KTR.

But, what about Sircilla? KCR needs to do lot of homework in this constituency to stay ahead of the rivals. There is some disappointment over his way of working in the constituency and the Opposition is trying to cash in on this. KTR needs to hold on to his burrough of Sircilla even while winning the whole state for the TRS. Can this young politico do it?
