Hyderabad: Caretaker Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, minister K.T. Rama Rao, Nizamabad Lok Sabha member K. Kavitha and MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday condemned the attack on YSR Congress president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy at Visakhapatnam airport.

Mr Chandrasekhar Rao called Mr Reddy over telephone and enquired about his health, advised him to take rest and wished him a speedy recovery.





Ms Kavitha tweeted, “As a system we need to strengthen our security measures to ensure that such lowly acts are never successful in destroying our country's ethos.”

Mr Owaisi tweeted, “How can a person bring a dagger inside the airport and in a lounge. Politicians are vulnerable with this new phenomenon of selfies.”
Mr Rama Rao tweeted, “I strongly condemn the attack on AP’s opposition leader YS Jagan. The culprit should be punished severely.”
